Rahul (BPhT, PGDip, MMACP, AACP, ANP, MCSP, Injection therapy, MSK sonography)
Rahul is the director of the Clinics and qualified as a physiotherapist from India in 2000. Since then Rahul has worked both in the NHS and private sector with special interest in musculoskeletal disorders including Rheumatology. He has strong links with Orthopaedics, Rheumatologist, Spinal specialists and Radiology Consultants in the Local NHS and private hospitals.

He has obtained post graduate qualifications in Neuro-musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from University of Hertfordshire, Coventry University, University of Southampton, Anglia Ruskin University and Essex University. He is also a member of the Manipulation Association of Physiotherapist (MACP) and Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapist (AACP). He is a qualified acupuncturist, joint and soft tissue corticosteroid injection practitioner and performs diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound guided injections. Rahul is also a qualified advanced non-medical prescriber and works a few sessions in a GP practice as a consultant physiotherapist. He also writes health columns in the local magazines and has presented papers in international conferences.

Away from work Rahul enjoys travelling,spending time with his family and flying microlight air crafts.

 

Hari (BSc, MSc, AACP, ANP, MCSP)
Hari graduated as Bachelor of physiotherapy from India. He has more than 10 years of experience working in musculoskeletal outpatients and orthopaedic hospitals both in the UK and abroad. Hari has been working in the UK as a senior physiotherapist for the NHS and private practise since 2005 and has the experience in treating various musculoskeletal conditions. He has successfully completed Masters in sport Injury physiotherapy from Sheffield University in addition to many other post graduate courses in spinal/ manual therapy and acupuncture.

Hari is also an Independent medical prescriber with a special interest in treating complex neck and lower back pain patients. He is experienced in using manual therapy, mobilisation, pain education, trigger point release, soft tissue manipulation and targeted functional exercise programmes that benefit the patient and provide a holistic approach of rehabilitation for functional independence.

 

James (BSc, MSc, MCSP, MHCPC)
James qualified with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2011 from The University of Essex. Since then James has worked in most areas of physiotherapy both in the NHS, sporting and private sector. James currently works as a Senior Physiotherapist within NHS Musculoskeletal Services. He has a specialist interest in treating those with chronic lower back pain having been trained in ‘Cognitive Functional Therapy’, a person centred, physical and psychological approach to managing complex pain disorders. He has many years’ experience in treating patients who suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis, a long term and painful inflammatory condition of the spine. He delivers therapy through specific gym and water based (hydrotherapy) treatment methods.

James’ passion lies in sport and orthopedic rehabilitation, which is supplemented by his previous degree in Sport and Exercise Science and having worked for many years at West Ham United Football Club as well as other sporting teams, at various levels.

 

Gavin (BSc Hons, MCSP, MHCPC)
Gavin qualified from Teesside University in 2010 with a BSc in Physiotherapy, having previously qualified in Physiology and Sports Science from Carlow Institute of Technology, Ireland. Since then he has experience working in every area of physiotherapy within the NHS and private sector. Gavin has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy since 2013. He has a special interest in sports injuries particularly of the lower quadrant and also neck pain. Gavin has completed a master’s level module in acupuncture.

He has also completed extra training in sports taping and mulligans concept.

 

Gareth Hill (BSc Physiotherapy, HCPC, CSP)
Gareth obtained a sports therapy degree at The University of Kent 2008. He then started working for Thurrock FC, both pitch side and rehabilitation, in the conference south for 3 seasons. He qualified as a physiotherapist in 2014 from The University of Essex. Since qualifying he completed 2 years as a rotational junior physiotherapy before taking a static MSK Orthopaedic position at Basildon hospital. Gareth has experience in treating patients ranging from post op knee/hip replacements, back surgery, ankle operations, shoulder surgery and hydrotherapy. He will soon be starting an acupuncture course and will subsequently become a member of the AACP.

On completion of acupuncture course he plans to take various other courses including mobilisations and manipulations. He has a keen interest in sports specific injuries from both acute and rehabilitation settings.

 

Anna Marrzec (BSc, MSc, MCSP, MHCPC)
Anna qualified as a physiotherapist from Poland in 2014 and moved to England 2 years ago. She started with the clinic as a part time placement student and is now working with us as a physiotherapist. Anna plans to do acupuncture in due course.

 

Mrugal (MBA)
Mrugal is the practice manager and manages the administration side of all the clinics. She is the back bone of the clinics and is responsible for monitoring service levels, diary management and patient enquiries. Her role is to ensure that all staff and administrative systems perform to an optimal level. Mrugal also leads on marketing and organising public relation events.
